          Sensei Andrea Guarelli se narodil ve Veroně v roce 1961, se studiem bojových umění začal v roce 1974. Studium stylu Goju začal pod vedením Mistra Maria Bosio v roce 1977. Několik let se věnoval sportovnímu zápasení v němž dosáhl významných úspěchů na národní i mezinárodní úrovni:
